Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I recommend trying the following things:
- For one of the Sundays that worked, open the shift entry and note exactly how the date is entered: check both the start date/time and end date/time, and whether the end is designated the next calendar day.
- For one of the failing Sundays, attempt to explicitly set the end date as Monday (if your shift ends after midnight) rather than Sunday. If the UI allows specifying end date, this may fix the rejection.
- Check in your Toast Web under Labor / Scheduling / Enforcement to see if there are time-window restrictions (e.g., no shift ending later than 1 am) or alternative schedule templates for those two dates.
- Check whether the business day cutoff or auto-clock-out settings differ for those dates (for example, some locations treat Sunday → Monday differently).
- If you have access to alerts or error messages when the shift fails to add, capture the exact message; this may help when contacting Toast support.
