Hi everyone,
I am wanting to get everyone's feedback on scheduling apps. Currently, we use Homebase but their latest updates and continuing issues with syncing with Toast have made it a nightmare. I am looking at options to maybe switch but wanted opinions on which apps everyone uses and the pro's and con's that you have had. I was thinking sling originally, but after looking at the reviews on google play, I am thinking maybe its not good, Seems that it doesn't work very well for android users. What is everyone's thoughts on sling or other scheduling apps that can be integrated with toast?

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but be very careful when working on your schedules in Sling. My husband was working on creating a future schedule and didn't realize he was editing the current week. (I've made this mistake before in Homebase, so i know how easy it is to do)
Since Sling is synched with Toast - it deleted timesheets from that week that were already worked! What a mess!
If this ever happens to you, you're able to find the deleted data in timesheet audit. The ai support chat told me there wasn't any backup data, but thankfully a real person from payroll support helped with the issue.

Here's an update:
we are now in our 4th week of using sling. While toast and sling said there wouldn't be any issues having homebase linked, there were a few, which I expected. That said, the only thing that caused issues, which sling is now aware of and are looking into why it was happening, were shifts imported from toast, those would not sync correctly. The original shift synced just fine but any trades or swaps or covers of those shifts would not show via toast. So with that in mind, I would recommend not importing until they fix that bug.
However, sling so far has been so nice since we have stopped using homebase entirely, the sync between toast and sling is near instantaneous for scheduling and new hires, that was a nightmare for me on homebase. I am glad that I don't have to add jobs and contact information like I did on homebase. I have liked sling so far. It has been a good change. Other than the import/sync issue, I have not encountered anything that I don't like, and what I have not liked was just finding the right setting to make it so I liked it.
