Why doesn’t Toast have an option to manually approve or deny online catering orders without affecting regular takeout and delivery orders?
I know there are catering capacity limits based on the number of orders or dollar amount, but neither really works for our setup. Our catering menu has bulk items, so someone could order a huge amount of food and it would still count as just one order. With a dollar limit, a few expensive items can quickly use up the entire limit and prevent us from accepting more orders, even when we still have the capacity.
What we really need is the ability to review each catering order and accept or decline it based on what’s being ordered and whether we can accommodate it, while keeping regular takeout and delivery running as usual. Is there a way to do this, or is it something Toast could add?
