Toast Outage- helpful lookouts

Hey everyone! 

We may all have different random things that pop up from the internet outage yesterday and I thought we could help each other out by letting each other know things to keep our eyes open for so it doesn't surprise bite us later.

Labor Summary/Time Entries: check your clock ins and outs. The time entries look incorrect on Time Entry Management so correct them but then DOUBLE CHECK it in Labor Summary because in some cases this causes a double shift at the same time of day.  This could get complicated if you use Toast Payroll and how it pulls the timesheets so just something to keep your eyes on.

Does anyone else have odd ball items that they've seen today?

I had a Toast Go 2 for which the wi-fi got turned off (Not sure how because I hid the setting, and I'm assuming it happened yesterday).  I had an envelope with receipts, but ZERO record of this employee or the transactions in the back end.  I about freaked, but then thought to check the device she was using.  I turned on wi-fi, and all the transactions updated.  I was able to run her shift review and clock her out yesterday...before she showed up for her shift today!  Whew.

I also happened to be in the right place at the right time to intercept a customer call about a declined card transaction.  Thankfully it was the only one yesterday, and she gave me a different card over the phone (and it approved!).  Whew x 2.
