Why is EBT option so EXPENSIVE!

We have the toast flex system with KDS. 

We use Bank of america ebt for now, we just pay processing fees , bought the machine for 250 and it works fine. i would love to use the newly integrated ebt with toast, but for some reason you guys want to charge 150 bucks a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and we have to use a different piece of hardward.. any idea when this will be backported to other systems at a way cheaper price?

Hello, and thanks for reaching out to the community! This is a great question. I believe you are seeing that price point because you need Toast Retail in order to use EBT. Toast Retail is one of our newer add-ons, where are you getting this price point from?
