'Google My Business' recently updated the way we update our business information in their back-end. I do like the new format as it's quicker/easier to make updates (even though Google still takes up to 3 days for them to appear once saved 🙄), but I am having an issue with the Toast URL link integration.
Wondering if anyone else's Google business page is showing the big blue "Order Pickup" button, and only allowing customers to order Pickup, even though you also offer Delivery? See pics below, am I doing something wrong?
Click "Food Ordering" to set up links in the back-end:
I added our ToastOO URL, toggled it ON, and selected both Pick & Delivery (this was several days ago, so the effects should be showing on the customer-facing site by now...):
But when customers google our business, the big blue button is showing up, but it's only allowing them to "Order Pickup", even though Delivery service is turned On at our restaurant:
I cannot even switch to Delivery here:
I've been emailing with google support about this for 2 weeks, but they are now telling me it's Toast's issue:
How can I get this button to work?

Do you self deliver or use TDS? From the order with google FAQ's:
"Does Order with Google work with delivery?

We do self-delivery and would be delivering any orders placed via Google or ToastOO directly, ourselves.

Further, I checked our Toast back-end ("Restaurant Info" page), and it seems the Google Business page integration has been corrupted, showing these error messages:
When I disconnect the connection, and try to re-connect, it wants us to give it permission to 'delete' our business profile, which I obviously am not comfortable with.
BUT, no matter which options I choose when trying to reconnect my Google account to our Toast back-end, I always get those same red error messages.
Definitely something buggy going on here!

It won’t delete your profile but it won’t work either I’ve had the same issue and I’ve been trying for over two months as I was supposed to be in a test for it. I recommend opening a ticket with google as well so they can help trouble shoot the issue on their end.
