Online Ordering & Multiple Discount Redemptions

We have recently signed up with Toast and had been liking things to this point, BUT we are having a lot of issues with people redeeming multiple promotions on online orders - like rewards dollars and a promotion discount we had been running this weekend. I've been told by Toast Support there is no way to prevent this - does anyone know if that is in fact the case or if there is some way to keep people from redeeming multiple? Our margins are good, but when people are redeeming almost half off their orders, it isn't good.

Thanks for reaching out to the community, and welcome to Toast! Unfortunately, Toast promo codes are multi-use today, so there is no surefire way to prevent a guest from using a promo code multiple times. To mitigate this, you can set your Toast promo code to expire on a certain date.

I have the same questions as Moxmoe. However, Rob's response does not speak to what Moxmoe is asking. To clarify, the question is how to prevent someone from using 2 seperate promotional offers on the same online order. For example, using Loyalty Reward Points and a promo offer on the same online transaction. Using the same promo code can be prevented by making the promo 'single use.'  But the question here is preventing a customer from combining offers on the same online transaction. Can someone provide input? 

Thank you for reaching out with this feedback, Sorry for the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this, I have shared this feedback with my team, but it would be a feature request.
You would need to remove the option to apply discounts to online orders to try and prevent customers from using discounts and loyalty.
