We run a small wine bar with about 45 seats. When a guest asks for a second glass of wine our server selects the wine previously ordered and clicks on the Repeat button. Unfortunately the ticket that is printed at the bar doesn't indicate it is a repeated item. We ask the servers to use the Special Request to indicate it is a repeat. May not seem like a big deal, but it does take extra time and effort. When we repeat a glass of wine it gets poured into a carafe rather than a new glass. New glasses need to be polished after the dishwasher to eliminate any smudges and water spots; carafes do not. More time and effort.
Anyone have any potential solution that we are not seeing?
