We had a guest who dined with us on Sunday. We have our pre-authorization set to $25. Once a month someone reaches out inquiring about the extra charge. I kindly explain it will fall off in time. However, today a guest had a reversal charge for $25 from a restaurant in a completely different state. (we're in Chicago, the reversal was from Virginia, on the same day. I checked and they do in fact use Toast. I told the guest to check again tomorrow and let me know, but seems very weird.
Has anyone else experienced this? We use QR code ordering at tables and I'm worried that Toast got data mixed up on their end.
