Does anyone else feel that there should be a way to put a service charge on just the food items on the check so it can go to the kitchen? This is happening more and more and needs to be an option I think. I know my restaurant is thinking of switching POS because the service charge represents such a large amount of money to us it would be worth it, even though we are happy with Toast for the most part. Is anyone else having similar thoughts? Or anyone have any ideas to somehow get this to work with the toast system?

A wordkaroud for this would be to have your taxes set to print by line time as opposed to group together. then create a "Tax" that only applies to certain menu items or menus therefore it will only apply to food
