Social Media vs. Email Marketing - Is Tik Tok a must?

We've put the majority of our marketing time into email marketing, which historically has had the greatest ROI for driving sales (our core customer base is generally 30+). We keep Instagram active and have barely scratched the surface with Tiktok. Are we missing out on by not putting more effort into TikTok?

TikTok is a powerful marketing tool for restaurants, especially independently operated restaurants. It is a platform where restaurants can connect with a large audience of potential customers, showcase food and culture, and build a loyal following.

Benefits:

-Reach a large audience: TikTok has over 1 billion active users worldwide.
-Showcase YOUR food and culture: Showcase unique food and culture. Post videos of chefs preparing dishes, behind-the-scenes videos, etc.
-Build a loyal following: Restaurants can use TikTok to engage with their followers, answer their questions, and run contests and promotions.
-TikTok is especially beneficial for independently operated restaurants because it is a FREE platform. This means that independently operated restaurants can compete with larger restaurants on TikTok without having to spend a lot of money.

Be Sure to:

Post high-quality videos.
Use relevant hashtags.
Engage with your audience. Respond to comments, answer questions, and participate in trends.
Run contests and promotions. A great way to engage and attract new followers.
