Why did Toast move promos, service charge, discounts and other actions off the Toast POS main screen on the Toast Go handheld devices? This is super inconvenient. You have just added unnecessary added time & stress to staff & managers by adding anothewr screen to get to.

 

Agreed. Is there a way to customise the handheld's order screen / revert to a past version?

Barcode scanning doesn’t acknowledge that you actually scanned the item and it just stays on the scanning screen. It’s not instant. A sound would be nice , some kind of signal that the item was scanned

Feature Request: Manager Log Upgrades

Hi Toast Team, I'd love to see two expansions to the Manager Log that would make it the sturdiest in the business:

1. Employee Search: The ability to tag specific employees in a log and search for them across a multi-day date range. This would help managers easily track patterns (like being late 5 times) for performance reviews and write-ups. 2. Auto-Email Triggers: The ability for specific log categories to automatically trigger emails to relevant teams. For example, a note in the maintenance log about a leaky faucet instantly emails the maintenance team, or finance notes go straight to accounting.
