All servers hate this update.

I work at ATG downtown(Louisville,KY). All servers have all come together and hate this new “UI” (user interface) compared to what we were handling. We use to take orders with ease. Well so long with that. With this new update, it makes it incredibly difficult to the servers because you have to swipe a whole page to put a seat number when you are getting yelled at for orders. This doesn’t include busy hours. There have been multiple instances when servers cannot find their checks because it says they do not have one when in fact they do because they have rang items in.  This update also has interrupted multiple servers in the midst of taking orders. Today is an example. We had our typically system and we’re working like a well oiled machine. When the “s*it” update came across it had most servers confused and very disorganized (myself included). Our manager says that it is an easier system but after working on the original for 2 years. I can assure anyone even the new hires it is not. The new hires are even upset about the update. Toast I am pleading with you. Please keep the same system at against the grain. We all work better and make more money because we aren’t confused when it’s our typical system. My “manager” who is a higher up says this system is easier. By no means is it easier. We all collectively confused. This is someone pleading after working on the same system after multiple years with multiple other long time servers. Please keep the usually system at against the grain. (Louisville,KY).

Hey @HOhlmanz, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We have taken note of the issues you highlighted and are working on fixing them. The fixes will be included in future updates. It will be up to your managers to decide whether or not to update to the new version of Toast that includes these updates. As of now, this update is not mandatory.
