Battery Backups

What kind of battery backups should I get for my toast pos systems in case of a power outage?

Technically any will work there are no specific requirements, depends on how long you want to be able to run without power, or how much you want to spend. If you have a backup power source like a generator then a 400VA rating will be plenty, maybe a little more if you have multiple on one. Also don't forget about your networking equipment, routers/modems etc., want to keep that going more than anything.

Well Is your internet going to be run on a battery backup. Does your internet have a cellular failover that is run on a battery backup. Are all you phones on a battery backup. Are your exhaust fans on a generator. If you answered no to any of these questions a basic APC battery backup to allow to shutdown your devices. Otherwise mosto of it is web and mobile based if necessary you can access the information on the back-end.
