Can I set up a minimum amount for a credit card purchase?

We require guests to spend a minimum of $10 if they want to use a credit card.  Is there a way to set a minimum for credit card purchases.  We do not offer on-line orders, this would be in-person purchases only.  Thanks much!

Thank you but unfortunately that's not exactly what we're looking for.  Here is an example,  Joe comes in and orders two beers totaling $7.00 and he wants to use his credit card to pay for those two drinks.  We require anyone using a credit card to spend at least $10.00.  So ideally if our bartender tried to close this $7.00 sale our POS system would not allow that to happen.  The customer would have to spend at least three more dollars before the card could be used.

Oh, I see, unfortunately we don't have functionality that would do this, but I think you could make a required Modifier called 10.00 threshold. It would have to be checked, forcing the staff to check if it hit the 10.00 mark, and you could hide this modifier from guests, but this could be clunky to implement.

YOu can set a service charge for all dine-in orders  up until $10. However your best bet if your not doing online orders anyway is to have your staff enforce the minimum
