Can we get seperate text message for take-out and deliveries?

We use quick orders for all of our orders. Is there (can there) be a text for takeout and a text for deliveries?  

Ideally one would say, hey your order is ready please come pick up

Other would say hey, your delivery will be on the way shortly.

Looks like a small improvement. So you want a custom message for pickup vs delivery? Looks like they have most of it there already, just maybe missing takeout vs delivery.  I thought there wasn't one, but ToastIQ to the rescue. 😉 I haven't tested this, but maybe you can try an post.

Yes! You can customize different messages for takeout and delivery orders.

For order confirmation messages:

Go to Takeout & delivery > Availability > Online Ordering in Toast Web. In the Dining Options section, select "Add Instructions" for each order type to create custom messages that appear on confirmation pages and e-receipts.

For order ready text messages:

Navigate to Takeout & delivery > Orders Hub > Order ready guest messaging. You can toggle on messaging and customize separate messages for Takeout orders specifically. Note that order ready messaging is currently available for takeout and curbside orders, but not delivery orders through this feature.

The confirmation messages let you provide specific pickup instructions for takeout versus delivery expectations, while order ready texts help notify customers when their takeout orders are ready for pickup.
