Is there any way to have the system show a company name rather than a person's name on the tickets? We have many commercial customers whose orders we'd like labelled with their company name. The name of the person who orders for them is irrelevant in our process, so having their name on the order leads to confusion.

Enter the company name as the "First Name" on the system.

Thanks for the suggestion. That is a decent work-around for the limitations of the system, but not a complete solution for our problem. I can understand the system defaulting to Customer Name, but shouldn't Company at least be a selectable option?

I completely understand how beneficial it would be to have the ability to choose the company name displayed on the ticket. Based on my knowledge of the Toast system, this feature is not currently available.
However, you can submit a feature request here: Toast Feature Request.
The Toast team regularly reviews community posts for popular feature requests, so hopefully, this is something they can consider implementing in the future to better meet your needs. In the meanwhile, entering company name as the first name is the easier way to achieve your goal.
