Closed Checks on Open Table

Has anyone been able to figure out an efficient way to get closed checks off of tables with checks that are still open? For example, we had a 35 person party last night with separate checks. At one point in the evening, all but 5 checks were closed out. We had to swipe through 30 closed checks just to access the open ones. The old version offered the ability to switch closed checks to other tables to make them disappear - The new version does not. I realize that we could tell our guests we aren't able to accommodate separate checks any longer, but that's ridiculous. We all deserve POS systems that streamline our work. Just checking to see if anyone figured out a way around this (millionth) issue created by the new version of Toast.

You can still remove from a table or move to another table, can even select multiple to move, just tap the table number and remove from table completely or select another table. Though personally I would just go to open checks rather than swipe through that many on the order screen.
