Hey there! Quick question (I need a response ASAP),
we are doing a fundraising night tonight, and the set up is that 15% of sales are donated of sales if the customer mentions the event. So like they order and say I’m here for “X Event”. Is there a way to track the sales? I considered creating a dining option that is “X Event Here” and “X Event To Go” but wondering if there’s an easier option
Solved! Go to Solution.

There are a few threads about fundraisers, I have attached them below but one of the suggestions from rcmck was to create a discount named Dine To Donate, with a fixed $ amount off of $0.00 set to the entire check, then apply the discount to the orders for guests that are participating.
Then you can run a sales breakdown report set to discount name by sales category for the date of the event. The discount named Dine to Donate will have the net and gross sales of the checks that it was applied to next to it.
