Hardware Subscription

I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent change requiring a separate software subscription for every POS terminal.

When I originally signed my agreement with Toast, my understanding and the terms presented to me were that my account included one POS software subscription, with additional subscriptions required only for handheld devices. That pricing structure was an important factor in my decision to choose Toast.

The new policy fundamentally changes the cost structure of the platform by requiring a subscription for each POS terminal. This represents a significant increase in operating expenses that was never part of the agreement I entered into. Had these terms existed when I signed, they would have materially impacted my purchasing decision.

As a long-time customer, I believe existing customers should be grandfathered into the pricing model under which they originally contracted, rather than being required to adopt a new subscription structure. Changing the pricing model after customers have invested in your ecosystem undermines the trust that businesses place in Toast.

I respectfully request that Toast honor my original agreement by allowing my account to continue under the original pricing structure, or provide an equivalent accommodation that preserves the value of the contract I agreed to.

So you added more terminals? When you checkout in the shop it shows the cost of terminal with the added monthly cost?
