How do have checks displayed in order on the payment terminal by Check number not by Check time?

I just got this system a week ago and I'm still trying to figure things. When I am on my payment terminal and a customer hands me their check. I look for their check by number but it looks all jumbled. Is there a way to keep it organized my check number?

Advanced filter, touch the top right 3dot overflow menu on the checks screen, choose advanced filter, select check number.

Something else that might be helpful to you is the search button if you have a lot of checks and you know the check number or tab name.
