We are a tiki bar/restaurant on the water. We have toast Mobile Order and Pay for our boat slips and various chairs throughout our restaurant so that guest can order for themselves in these areas with servers helping this process. The issue were running into is an affective way to distinguish these tickets from others. We generally plate boat slip and chair food as to go food for ease of consumption in these areas. The issue is when these tickets ring into the kitchen the only way for them to know it is at one of these dining areas is by table number. Is there a way to treat these orders as a dining option that acts as take out so that these orders can be defaulted to highlight in the kitchen as take out orders do? If not is there any way to draw more attention to these tickets so the cooks know to plate them differently?

I would have to label the items differently which would affect all my item reporting. That does not work very well for us.

Are you using tickets or KDS screens? On our KDS screens they look different enough that our kitchen knows to package them to go. All of ours come through as the Default Online Ordering as the server which is another indicator for our kitchen to make them to do. Admittedly though it does not stand out as clearly as online ordering or orders with the dining type changed to take out.

I am using KDS screens. However we intend to package them differently than our takeout orders so using that unfortunately won't help. Really looking for another option but thank you for the suggestion.

It should be the only things coming in from order and pay with seat numbers. Perhaps make the seat numbers more descriptive? We only use ours late night, so I'd have to check later, but if I recall correctly it puts the seat info pretty prominently on the display for order and pay.

Yes we are using seat numbers to identify the orders but was hoping for something more conspicuous than that. For now I think that is the best that we can do.
