I am new to Toast. Our internet provider, Spectrum, only has modems with one ethernet port. My understanding is that we can only use the Meraki router and that we can only create one network. How do we connect other wireless devices for things like our security cameras, music, lights, guest network, etc? Do I need to get a second internet connection from Spectrum, with a separate modem? Or can I create a guest network on the Meraki router? Or plug in a second router to the Meraki router and/or switch?
Thanks,ST

All you need is just a switch.

Is the spectrum equipment just a modem? (does not do any routing) I assume it is if there is just one port, (would be labeled WAN, not LAN) if that is the case you would need to get your own router/Wi-Fi access point for your personal network needs and connect that to the modem, then connect the meraki behind your equipment to one of the LAN ports on your router.

Yes, I have my own wi-fi router. I'm just confused as Toast is telling me that their Meraki router must be plugged into the modem. IOW, I can't put my router in between the modem and the Meraki router.

You should put your router in-between the modem and meraki router. So from spectrum modem WAN to your routers WAN port, then from WAN port of meraki to one of your routers LAN ports. Only would go directly to the modem from meraki if you didn't have your own equipment or you had a separate modem just for it.
