Packaging Preferences for Curbside

Trying to use the new packaging preferences options but they don't seem to show on KDS/Orders Hub/Receipt when Curbside  is selected, though it does show the option to select preferences during checkout, is this a known issue?

Hey! 

What is your expeditor ticket configuration? One of our locations mentioned that the utensils preference does not print on the kitchen ticket, and the Toast agent mentioned it is because we use prep station configuration. We do want all items (food & beverages) to print on our online order tickets, which do now, but the problem is that if we turn on "send to expeditor" as the agent suggested, it affects our dine in tickets too and we only want foo to appear on our dine in tickets that print at the expo printer. We have different stations for drinks.

Not showing on printed tickets is expected I believe, I think it only shows on kds or orders hub. Are you trying to get it to show on a printed expedior ticket or just not seeing it on the expedior kds?

Interesting, so you don't see the utensils preference on your expo ticket? According to the packaging preference article, it should.

I don't use a printed expo ticket, just the screen. I can test that for you though. But I think your issue is that you don't want drinks on dine in expo tickets just takeout?

Got it! We might move away from using expo tickets, but not anytime soon. That is correct, we only want drinks on takeout tickets, not dine in tickets. On the plus, the packaging preference does appear on our carryout KDS, order hub, and sticky item labels. No need to test, thank you for offering though! 🙂
