Problem modifying dishes

I dont know why certain subs are grouping together

For instance on the picture attached,

I first pressed No Lime Sriracha Glaze and then substitute ranch.  but it pushed the word substitute about the Sauce.  

any help on how to fix this would be appreciated

I would assume No and Substitute are actual modifiers and being used kind of like a pre-modifier? I would check the setting under UI options, modifier group sorting, would need to be set to display in order they are added for something like that to work.
