Hello, I am hoping that someone might be able to help me with the following issue.
The restaurant where I work sometimes accepts large bulk orders that are scheduled four or five days in advance. The initial chit displaying the order prints at the time that the order is received, and we store it in our office so that we can adjust our ordering for that week and also so that we don't lose track of it.
Usually this system works well, but this sometimes creates a problem for us because there are instances where the manager on duty does not notice that the order on the day it is supposed to be prepared, so the chit never gets brought back to the kitchen.
Is it possible for us to program in a setting for previously scheduled orders to print the chit again at a specified time before the order is scheduled to be picked up?

It seems that the workflow you've described would actually be a feature request because the system is designed not to print an additional ticket intentionally. If you had a KDS, there are "fire time" and prep times that you could adjust so the order shows up.

You can go into pending orders then future orders click and hold the order and print prep ticket on the top then you can click and hold and reschedule order and Set prep time and that will show the time it will print the day of

For those larger orders placed multiple days in advance, I have been making invoices for them in Toast, and printing out the invoice. That way I have a copy of the order, and it can fire at a later date to the kitchen. You can also print out prep lists for the kitchen with that. You would need to do it from a computer rather than on the POS though
