Selling Mutiple Gift Cards (painful)

We've had multiple customers purchases recently, for 10 & 20 (and more) gift cards. It's a pain to have to enter the value for each card individually, especially when there's a line of customers. It can take a good 10 minutes.

Toast: please add a sell mutiple gift cards option.

I hear you :-). In fact if you have those credit cards in the backend, I suppose you can fix them up. I remember doing something like this when we first started. But that was during the onboarding and I was told that we can't do bulk import. That would be perfect. I tried with ToastIQ, and it said that is the only way we are supposed to work with Toast. But I remember. It possibly let me do, since my gift cards were what I ordered when I had RevelPOS. So I had to bulk import and activate them all during onboarding. 

I would go to Inactive Cards-> click on a card number-> Adjust Balance.

Yes! You can adjust gift card balances in Toast Web without using the POS.

Here's how:

1. Go to Reports > Payments > Gift card balances in Toast Web

2. Find and select the gift card you want to update

3. Click Adjust Balance

4. Enter the amount you want to add to the card

5. Click Save

You can repeat this for multiple cards as needed. This lets you remotely add value to those $0 balance cards efficiently
