Hello Toast Peeps !
I am wondering if there is a way to restrict the special request function for my employee menu?
We have a separate employee menu that is available for my team to order from while they are working or want to take some food home but they get a bit adventurous playing with the special request buttons... "sub shrimp" for example.
My kitchen staff just does what the ticket says but how can I limit ALL or ANY typed in requests for an entire menu group ?
Its not really a function of the menu its more of a system wide function so I am guessing no way to do that?
Thanks in advance for suggestions and recommendations

@JMZ_NM the two work-arounds I can think of would be either require certain dining option for those items and have that dining option be called Employee food (or Course), the second would be to have those items have kitchen names that say Employee Food or a symbol in front of it like x when it prints so your staff know not to put shrimp on it. That being said not sure if its really worth the potential consequences (kitchen staff not wanting to make the employee food, or your staff is cool with the kitchen so they'll get the shrimp anyway and your not accounting for it. I think your best bet would be just have your managers comp or discount the check when they close them out and if they see certain things they charge them a reasonable amount
