I've asked this question to several Toast staff. When a guest walks in to order takeout, we are required to enter a phone number or skip the screen. The only way to remedy this is to remove the phone # option entirely, which impacts all of our other orders that need phone numbers. This wasn't a problem about a year ago. It became a problem on the last update before the Toast became "Classic Toast". It's very frustrating, requiring extra, time-consuming steps on many orders. It is also easy to ring in the order, forget to skip the phone # entry, leaving the order on the screen instead of sending it to the kitchen. I'm happy to review it with someone.

You can create another dining option just for walk-in takeout customers with a behavior of dine-in, this ill remove the prompt for telephone when you switch to that dining option but remain for your other takeout dinging options.
