TDS and dispatching drivers when TDS is turned off midshift

We use TDS and our own in house drivers. When we turn off TDS midshift, we have trouble dispatching drivers after we turn in house delivery off. Are we doing something wrong when we turn our in house drivers back on? It makes a huge mess when we have 30-40 deliveries and we have to scroll for orders and everyone has to write down what delivery they are on.

I don’t think you’re supposed to be able to toggle it like that. Toast docs say they don’t support using both TDS and your own delivery. Even with toggling, there’s likely some effects that are going to cause problems like what you’ve experienced. 

When we asked if we could do our own delivery for one night a week and TDS the rest of the time, they basically said that wasn’t supported. 

That said, I’m curious, what are the actual problems you have dispatching drivers? What doesn’t work? Screenshots or extra detail might help.
