Hello,
Apparently about a week and a half ago every user got switched to needing 2 part authentication, and ONLY one number is allowed per account? I hope the guy I spoke with tonight is incorrect, as my number is the one now associated with our account and my fellow managers need to rely on me to hear, and then wake up enough to forward a 6 digit code at 3 am o weekends so they can access toast in our office.. Anyone have a work around? Very frustrating!!!!

Per account, yes, are they all sharing one login? Workaround would be for managers to have their own login, preferably with only the permissions they need for their job.

Hi! I had reached out to Toast support with similar concern as our managers were not happy with this change, but as rcmck listed below one option is making sure that your managers have their own login. The other option the agent suggested is creating a dummy account that everyone can use that does not have payroll permissions. The agent I spoke with mentioned that this added authentication was for anyone that has access to payroll, and this is an extra security measure.
