Adding recipes in Toast

Is there a way I can add an allergy notification to a button in my Toast POS?

Allergy notification as in how you want it to work? Are you looking for something that helps your servers to be aware of dishes that might have food allergens?

What we've done at our restaurant is added a modifier group called "Allergies" and put new modifiers called ***DAIRY ALLERGY***, ***GLUTEN ALLERGY***, ***NUT ALLERGY*** that servers can select to alert the kitchen that a guest has a specific allergy so they know to be wary of certain ingredients.

Most locations create a Modifier group. You could also list the allergies in Item Descriptions. The following image is for Kisok, but it still may help!

Hi!

Similar to what @mclains-rebekah posted, we also have an allergies modifier group that servers can use to specify an allergy. We also color-coded allergies so that the kitchen staff can easily see it on the screen. We also have a separate Gluten-Free menu, and we created a menu group with all Glute-Free items that we offer.
