Door Dash Fees

Hello,

Can anyone explain how the door dash integration delivery fees & tips work. In the past with chow now, fees were taken out before disbursement. I've been told by toast that door dash will invoice me separately. This seems wildly inconvenient. Don't know if I have to do a payout at end of night or what. Any insight with this topic would be greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays All!!!

We don't use the Doordash integration but we use the Toast Delivery Service with the Doordash drivers. For every delivery order Toast charges $7.50 in fees, but we choose how much the customers pays for delivery to offset this expense. For us, we charge the customers $4 and cover $3.50 per order. 
Each month we pull a Sales Summary report filtered by Dining Option > Delivery by Doordash. Since all payments go through our system, that means we also collect any driver tips that are added to payments. This filtered report shows us the exact amount of tips we will owe for that month, number of orders, etc.
