Has there been any discussion to give the option to track specific gift cards and leave electronic notes on the cards with notifications?
I would love the ability to track certain gift cards. Gift cards that I donate to organizations for fundraisers, cards that get handed out for certain customers for random reasons. I would like the ability to add carts to a list and get a notification of when they are used, and be able to add notes into the system.
We give out cards, and there isn't an easy way to see when and how they are used. If I could add notes like. $25 gift card given to school for fundraiser," and then get a notification that the card was used and see that the order was $76, I could see the use and total spend. In another example, let's say I give out, $15 gift card to a customer for an issue with their order, "gave card to customer because their order was incorrect" I would like to know if it was used and if they returned or if we lost the customer and the card was never used.
