My labor reports in Toast Now and just in Toast in general are not accurate because a salaried employee's labor cost doesn't get amortized into daily labor. The only way I've heard you can do it is by calculating equivalent hourly rate and having the manager actually clock in, which is not practical for us.
When will salaried employees be treated properly in labor cost? It's the only reason I STILL go to 7shifts dashboards and app to look at labor, because they allow for weekly salary input, divided evenly into 7 days. That's the only way I'm able to get labor for my KPI dashboard to manage from

Shone, it would be killer if Toast could build some of those metrics into the back end. I could see it being invaluable to new operators that could plug in costs such as salary, rent, etc. to spit out a theoretical P&L.

Probably not a solution for everyone but if anyone uses sling you can enter salaries and it gives accurate labor costs when scheduling.
