Hello
I am bartender and we receive tips in a number of ways. The cash I receive and claim, the cc tips I get and claim, the tips I receive from the servers, the cash I receive from the servers.
On my paycheck I have..
"regular"--- which is my hourly
"Tips paid"
"Tips Owed"
and "Gratuity"...
What is what????? I have tried calling TOAST and asking the right extension and I cant get an answer.

Below is what all these codes mean:
Tips Paid
This is the most common earning code used for tips that an employee has already received, such as tips paid out after a shift.
Tips Owed
This is the most common earning code used for tips which an employee has not yet received, such as credit card tips which have not yet been issued to an employee.
Gratuity
This is probably from a service charge that is auto-applied to a large party or table, its basically a tip but its auto applied as a service charge.
