Hi All,
We have menu items that allow for a substitution modifier. xtraChef Recipe Product Mix Mapping only lets me add or subtract a modifier product, there is not an option to substitute one product for another.
For example, we have a Boiled Combo menu item that has snow crab legs in the recipe. A customer can substitute king crab legs (sub king modifier) for the snow crab legs. How do I get xtraChef to know that the sub king modifier means remove the snow crab from the recipe, and add the king crab to the recipe?
Many thanks to someone who can answer this for me!

I assume the snow crab legs is part of the recipe for the boiled combo menu item? I think you would need to make some tweaks to how it is setup in the menu, you could make the crab a required modifier group where they choose snow crab or king crab when ordering rather than sub king, then remove the snow crab from the combo recipe and map it directly to the modifiers. Or you could have a NO snow crab button (that subtracts) and a sub king button, but you would have to nest those to make sure that both get selected each time.

Thanks for your help rcmck. I will use your suggestion for nesting the modifier through a No Snow Crab option.
