The new item detail page is an improved experience designed to make managing your inventory easier and more intuitive. It introduces a full-page variant view, giving you clearer visibility into item variations and making it easier to navigate and manage your item library.
The variant page now displays all item variations in a full-page layout instead of the previous side panel, providing better visibility and a more streamlined way to review and update item details.
View the new item detail page by clicking on any item in your item library.
Barcodes on receipts are now available to support faster and easier check lookups.
You can now look up a past check directly from the POS — even after payment has been captured — without navigating to Checks & Issue Refunds in Toast Web. By scanning a receipt barcode, staff can quickly pull up a previous check to streamline order lookups and support more flexible checkout workflows.

I wish you'd go back to the system you previously had that updated the pricing when you updated receiving units. I have some items that are in per case and some that are in per unit, so I am continually changing prices back and forth. It was so much easier before you changed that.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the clarification. It did work once we scanned in the Find/All Checks screen. We will hold onto the check and ensure that it still works the same on Monday.

I'm not interested in scanning checks; I want to be able to scan my inventory so I can make money.
