Hey there. This might be a dumb question, but I thought that it wouldn't hurt to try asking anyway.
In regards to "Show Default Modifiers" option. This is the description...
"Specify "Yes" to always show default modifiers on the order, or "no" to only show them if they are removed (e.g. "NO tomato"). This only applies to default modifier groups where more than 1 modifier can be selected. Default modifiers in groups where only 1 can be selected will always be shown."
Is there anyway to program it to do both?
For example, I have Pizza programmed into my system. Each specialty pizza has the ingredients show up on the ticket/KDS as default modifiers. Right now lets say someone orders our Deluxe but doesn't want pepperoni, our server will unclick "Pepperoni" from the Default Modifier screen. "Pepperoni" will disappear from the screen, but sometimes the cooks see "Deluxe" and they forget to look through the ingredients. Is there a way to have all the Default Modifiers showing, but if they unclick one (Pepperoni in this case) it will be replaced with "No Pepperoni" on the screen?

New to Toast here.
That's a really good suggestion. Unchecking a default modifier triggers a "no" option. Nice.
Since Toast doesn't seem to do this, perhaps changing the color on the KDS? I on't k

If I remember correctly, there is already an option that will add "no" to a default modifier item when unchecked.
