In October, I received the below email from Toast that they will deduct Doordash Drive fees from my credit card deposits for September. It's weird that they sent this notice in October -- September CC deposits already passed. Then, D Drive also sent me an invoice and told me to pay through their payment site (high radius). So I'm being asked to pay in both places and the initial D Drive and Toast support I spoke with had multiple completely different answers. Why do these miscomms and rash changes keep happening with Toast? Like the charge to customers for online ordering... "Attached is a summary of your Toast Delivery Services fees, driver tips, refunds, and other adjustments for SEPTEMBER 2023. The fees listed have been or are in the process of being withheld from credit card deposits from your Toast Delivery Services orders. Toast uses the withheld funds to pay delivery providers for any fees incurred and driver tips earned. No action is required on your part. If you have any questions, reach out to Toast Customer Care at 617-682-0225." Also, instead of paying $7 plus a Toast fee of $.50 for every order, you can use Doordash Drive through Shipday, which integrates with Toast and is a full dollar cheaper per order! Plus, you can switch between Drive and your own drivers easily!
