Edit modifiers *sometimes*

Hi all,

I wondering if I can remove the price of a modifier on some items only. For example we have an *add meat or *add cheese modify. But on a couple items choosing a meat or a cheese is an required option for no additional price. If I edit price on one item, will it change for everything?

If the modifier has a price set then it will apply anywhere it's used, you can create another modifier using an existing item though and override the price, that will allow you to use the same mod in multiple places with different prices.  Another option would be pricing modifiers at the modifier group level and creating new modifier groups with different prices, only an option if all mods have the same price. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Creating-Modifiers-from-Items  https://doc.toasttab.com/doc/platformguide/adminPricingModifierOptions.html
