Our grubhub rep says that our alcoholic beverages are not being flagged correctly (we are integrated through Toast) and that we need to remove any alcoholic beverages from our delivery menu for grubhub. They are saying that Toast isn't able to flag the beverages correctly and so it's a liability for grubhub to continue offering drinks becaues their drivers have no way to know when to ID someone. This is not an issue with Doordash, can someone from Toast comment on this?

I'd like to assist with troubleshooting the problem you're experiencing, but our business doesn't provide alcoholic beverages. It appears to be an integration issue with either Toast or Grubhub. Have you reached out to Toast's customer care team to address this matter?

From the alcohol labeling page, grub hub does not deliver alcohol.

I have talked to grubhub about this and they actually do deliver alcohol, they just cannot deliver alcohol through Toast. My understanding is that it's because the items containing alcohol cannot be tagged properly, so it's a liability for them to deliver alcohol since there is no way of notifying delivery drivers when they need to ask for ID. The way Toast words this it makes it sound like it's a decision grubhub has made not to deliver alcohol, which isn't true.
