After a guest makes a payment on the Toast Go 2 Handheld, is there a way for the device to automatically go back to the pin login screen once the payment confirmation pop-up is closed, or at least require a user pin to be entered to proceed past the payment confirmation screen? If a server leaves the handheld with a guest to complete a payment, there are some concerns about guests being able to create some chaos if they decide to start pressing buttons once the payment process is complete.

There is the auto switch user option under UI options, but that's a global setting so it will affect every device not just handhelds. Other option for device specific would be to set a shorter screen timeout under device setup.

Thank you. I was considering that setting, but I'm concerned that activating the auto switch user function may cause more problems interrupting workflow and slow down the staff that those negatives will far outweigh the positives of preventing the devious guest scenario that hasn't yet happened.
I was hoping to find something that is specific to payments (and ideally, a setting that could be toggled on or overridden in the Device Setup so it can be applied to just handhelds), but that might be something I need to submit as a Feature Request.

Yeah I would love to see that feature have a device specific override like they have added recently for things like tipping and tab names. I also don't use it because it would slow service on some devices, but there are devices I do want it on.
