We have very differing opinions regarding online orders with tips. Because of the inconsistency of the number of orders we get on a given shift, we do not have one designated person to handle ALL of the go orders that come in online. Orders might be bagged by the host, a manager, a server, etc.
In the past we have tried changing the 'server' on the go order to the person who prepares it for pickup but found that managers and staff were watching for the orders with the largest tips and leaving the others for someone else.
We tried accumulating all of the tips for extended times (month, quarter, etc.) and dividing it up by number of hours worked.
What do you do?
