MAJOR HELP IS NEEDED.

Hello everyone, my restaurant is new to toast. less than a week now. We are having trouble in our carry out department. with the cash drawer, shift review checkout and online orders tips on how my carry out staff are suppose to receive those tips? because they have a 0.03% sushi tip out owed back to the restaurant that we cant have it manually put in from toast. For their a.m. check out and p.m. check out. We keep our cash drawer at 0.00 balance because we have always kept since before toast $120 in the drawer in cash and coin change. As manager's we divided up their tips from who works in the morning vs the evening. We are stuck on how to do their check out even though the drawer is set to 0.00 balance in toasttab.. The shift review report still show a "Cash Drawer balance". When we  clock out and run the shift review to do their sushi tip out and to run the morning vs dinner checkout and online orders checkout to make sure the employees that work that shift get their correct tips for those shifts. We want to make sure  our whole day deposit for carry out and dine in matches up. I want to note. That all servers check outs are working out correctly, and our taking the correct amount of tips at the end of the night. With aloha we never has this problem. We have contacted toast and are trying to work on it. but we are looking for answering because we haven't been able to successfully run a full end of the night report for our boss yet. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. We have exhausted all of our options.

Thanks for reaching out, I know how important it is to have your checkout and tip distribution running smoothly, and I’m sorry that these first few days with Toast have been frustrating. I appreciate you sharing all the details—it really helps in getting the right support to you faster.

I’ve escalated your concerns, and a senior agent will contact you to help you sort through these issues. In the meantime, if there’s anything else I can do to help or if you’d like to share any additional details, just let me know!
