We sell Wagyu by the OUNCE. We have a choice:
for example:
So a customer can order 10 oz @1oz increments
Problem: MOD "Topper"
I haven't found a way to add something once to a quantity. We have been selling 1oz like this for 20 years so I can't change the way we sell Wagyu.

Turns out that since we're not an ice cream shop, it never occurred to me that "size" can be "qty". It occurred to me just before I fell asleep this morning at 3AM. So, instead of "1 oz Aussie" ++++ for quantities (like 4 margaritas).
I changed [BASE PRICE] is now [SIZE PRICE].

I assume the wagu by oz and lobster tails are in the same mod group that is set to allow the same modifier to be added more than once? If that is the case, edit the add lobster tail mod and override the multiselect for just that mod.

Perhaps re-configuring your menu item for Aussie Wagyu will solve the problem.
Instead of having an item that is called 1oz aussie wagyu, change the item into 8oz aussie wagyu - By ringing up the item itself = 8z aussie wagyu.
Create two separate modifier group:
mod group (1) : add mod item - 1oz aussie waygu with desirable max amount can be added.
mod group (2): for other mod item such as lobster tail, etc.
Make sure to set "consolidate modifier" "ON" or it will end up a long ticket when someone wants to order an 16oz wagyu.
