KDS Functions

The following are a list of things that I can do on my current KDS System, and I am wondering if the Toast KDS can do the same: 

• Change a table number from the expediter screen
• Show a breakdown of the items on each line station individually on the expediter screen
• Cancel a single item from the expediter screen that was rung in by mistake 

I have scoured the Toast Classroom resources but haven't been able to find any information on these topics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure  about the second one. But you can't edit or change order in KDS mode. You need to exit out KDS mode and go to payment terminal to edit/change order.

For 2nd question currently there is all day display and production item counts, it doesn't group by station though.

Hi @MBentsen, thanks for reaching out!

1. Unfortunately, you cannot change the table from the KDS screen.
2. Each item is listed on its own line on the kitchen ticket, but it is not organized by line station
3. You cannot cancel an order from the KDS at this time
   
   If you have an image or can provide additional details about the workflow you want to implement in your second point, I can pass that information along to my team!

Thank you so much for your response. If a ticket is rung in under the wrong table, or an item is sent to the kitchen by mistake, is there a way to update the ticket so it shows up correctly on the KDS screen?
