Did they even show this KDS screen to a single restaurant before launching it nation wide? How do some of these features even make it past testing. It's like no one working on this stuff has even stepped foot into a restaurant kitchen.
Now when a new ticket comes in it just sits there and flashes on the screen non stop, so in the middle of a rush you got 15 tickets just flashing all over the screen. The only way to stop the flashing is to reach up and touch each ticket. Because that's exactly what a busy line cook wants to do in the middle of cooking food. Then to make matter worse, when you tap the ticket on one screen, it doesn't effect the other screens, so you have to tap each ticket on every screen in the kitchen to make it stop flashing.
Makes no sense.
