Hello,
the Manager discount is not applying to the item used. it keeps saying it is discounted but nothing is being taken off.

Could you share a little more details, such the discount type or did you change anything in the advance setting for the discount?
A screenshot of your discount setting that you have problem with will be great too.

Agreed, if you share the settings of your discount, we could identify why it isn't working.
With several settings, for %, $ for check or item or specific menugroup , several things should be the issue.

Are you applying it to an item ora check if its an item you have to select the item.
