We are currently in the process of introducing order and pay capabilities at one of our establishments. A pertinent aspect we are addressing pertains to the service of alcoholic beverages. As we grant guests the ability to directly order these beverages through order & pay, we are actively investigating the strategies employed by other dining establishments to guarantee that age verification is diligently carried out before drinks are served.
To provide additional context, our operational structure includes a designated "Drink Runner" role, exclusively responsible for delivering beverages to tables following the orders placed by servers. Presently, our servers are responsible for verifying guests' age and eligibility to consume alcoholic beverages. However, with the implementation of the order & pay feature, which allows guests to independently order alcoholic beverages without direct server interaction, we are looking to establish robust measures to prevent underage individuals from accessing these beverages.
